This list of frequently asked questions helps you with the first steps around the Lübecker Toolbox and answers the most important organisational and content-related questions.

Warning: If the instruments with the branches are placed in the modules (on the integrated magnets) for a long time, the instruments may become magnetized. Please make sure that you either remove the instruments after each exercise or place them in the box so that there is a sufficient distance from the modules. LTB Germany Ltd. assume no liability for any magnetization.

The required area for a practising person and a Toolbox together with the monitor is about 2x1m. The Toolbox can be positioned on any flat surface with the dimension 40x50cm (you may have to add some kind of elevation).
The Toolbox can be comfortably carried by one person and set up in different locations.
If all the required components are available, the installation of a workplace takes no longer than 15 minutes.
The monitor (conventional TV monitor with HDMI connection) is not included.
One monitor, two trocars, the instruments (one curved scissors, two Overholt graspers, two needle drivers) and the sutures (braided, 3-0, SH needle).

In principle, yes. The modules are fixed with four small magnets at corresponding points of the bottom plate of the Toolbox. If the user manages to fixate other training modules on the base plate, they could also be used. However, the training success of the Luebeck Toolbox curriculum is solely validated for the given exercises. If a suitable plastic container is used, even organ procedures could be performed. However, LTB Germany Ltd. does not carry liability for the required ethical and hygienic standards.
All you have to do is install the camera in the Toolbox and place the modules for each exercise with the delivered materials (plastic pegs, rubber bands, non-woven fabric, etc). Before insertion of the trocars, the rubber membranes must be cut.
Maximum 4 weeks; on average we expect 3 weeks. If required, delivery can also be faster using express shipping. A tracking number will be provided.

The Toolbox is manufactured and assembled by a renowned company in southern Germany. The modules are manufactured near Hong Kong by established manufacturers. A thorough quality control of all components is carried out in a functional test of the entire system before shipping.
